Jordan
Jordan is home to the Dead Sea, and Petra, the Rose-Red City carved into rock. With a population of almost twelve million, Jordan has a steady growth rate with great participation across both primary and secondary levels.
Local Challenges:
Educational Outcomes highlight gaps in math, reading, and science. Refugee children and vulnerable groups still face significant challenges.
Government Initiatives:
The Jordan Government has launched an Educational Reform Initiative with the goal of modernizing, strengthening, increasing governance standards, and improving learning outcomes nationally. They have also partnered with UNESCO developing a strategic plan for 2026-2030 that will target inclusive education.
Our Impact:
We have just one school within the nation of Jordan. Our project targets equity gaps and establishes shared spaces for recreation and more. We have been helping them to improve their resources for the community since 2023. Select the project below if you’re interested in learning more.
