Cavus Primary: A Community Success Since 1942 –
Our first partnership in Turkey began in 2016 at Cavus Primary School. It has been a steady growth with active community participation since then. It began in 1942 thanks to the support of local government and community mobilization. In 1945 they were able to add three new classrooms, and in 1968 an additional five classrooms were created during its reconstruction. In the year 2000, Cavus Primary became the central school for many surrounding villages.
Our partnership began with the installation of modern lavatories and a new boiler to keep the school warm in the winter months.

This school is not yet able to accept donations directly. We are working to develop a way in which people who visit the school can continue to support its further development with the help of community members and parents.
