Local Challenges:
Despite the high literacy rates of over 90% the nation faces an equity challenge with almost two million children leaving school due to multidimensional poverty and infrastructure shortages.
Government Initiatives:
The Ministry of Education has aligned their core policy with targets improving both quality and equity. The cabinet also approved additional support for students from impoverished families, flexibile education curriculum, and further development.
Our Impact:
We have been developing projects within Thailand since around 2015. We have contributed to three schools that are in areas of need and have focused improvement on both recreation, community involvement, and educational spaces.
